1. Who we are

Confetti Frame is operated by the entity named at the top of this page (the "Operator", "we", "us"). These Terms form a legal agreement between you (the "Customer") and the Operator when you create an event, purchase a plan, or otherwise use the Confetti Frame service available at confettiframe.com (the "Service").

2. The service

Confetti Frame lets a couple, host, or organiser ("Owner") collect, organise, curate, and archive guest-submitted photos and videos from a wedding or similar event via a QR code. The Service includes the Owner dashboard, the guest upload page, the guest feed, and the archive.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under the laws of England & Wales. Guests of an event do not need an account to upload, but by uploading they confirm they have the right to do so.

4. Account & event ownership

The Owner is responsible for the content of the event, the configuration of sharing modes (Private Vault, Approved Social, Instant Share), and for instructing guests. The Owner is the data controller for guest-submitted content (see our Privacy Policy); the Operator acts as a data processor on the Owner's behalf.

5. Plans, pricing, and payment

  • Private Vault: one-time fee, 3-month digital archive, unlimited high-resolution guest uploads, designer QR signage cards, curate & approve workflow, one-click ZIP download of the full archive. Upload-only experience — no public guest feed or reactions.
  • Live Celebration: everything in Private Vault, plus a 12-month digital archive, real-time guest feed, loveheart reactions, custom milestone chapters, and automated archive-expiry reminders 30 and 7 days before the window closes.

Prices are shown on the Pricing page and are payable in GBP. Payment is processed by Stripe. By paying, you authorise the Operator to charge you the displayed amount via Stripe.

6. Refunds & cancellations

See our Refund Policy for the full terms. In summary: a full refund is available at any time before the event QR has been activated and used for any uploads. After activation, refunds are at our discretion and assessed case-by-case.

7. Acceptable use

You and your guests must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content or suspend events that breach it.

8. Your content & licence

You and your guests retain all copyright and ownership of uploaded photos and videos ("User Content"). You grant the Operator a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, transcode, and display User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use User Content for marketing without explicit, separate consent.

9. Storage duration & archival

User Content is retained for the duration of your plan's archive window (3 or 12 months from event activation). After expiry, content may be permanently deleted from our active systems within 30 days. Download a full-resolution archive before the window ends.

10. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses caused by guests' devices, network connectivity, or third-party services (Stripe, Cloudflare, our hosting provider).

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law (death, personal injury, fraud, etc.). Subject to that, our total aggregate liability to you under these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) £100 or (b) the total fees paid by you in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data outside the archive window, or losses arising from guest behaviour.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an event that materially breaches these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. You may close your event at any time from the dashboard; doing so does not entitle you to a refund except under the Refund Policy.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or via a banner in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect for existing events.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales, except that consumers may bring proceedings in their country of residence under applicable law.
